Chapter 1 – Ah, fudge!
“That was painful! It felt like I was getting stabbed repeatably coming here.” I am pissed off.
I quickly regained my composure as it started to fell like Arizona on a hot Summer day. I look around wishing for an air conditioner. Then I finally notice a pool of molten lava in front of me. I would say that it would have been the first thing I would have noticed as it seemed something was starting to leave the surface as if it were water.
“Think! A fire drake is a type of reptile that can, most likely, breath fire. Maybe its 10 feet high.” I begin to think this will be my last miserable stand. The noxious egg-like sulfur fumes don’t help encourage me. ” What! I am going to be poisoned first!”
As I screamed to the heavens in frustration; lava was rising up like a geyser that rose forty feet high. When it reached, it’s peak and started to fall slowly. An obsidian-like spire seemed to bee left. I started panicking as it started to move. Seeing that it had a serpent face didn’t calm me down.
My delusions as I stood like a statue; wished that it couldn’t see me as long as I didn’t move like a T-Rex. As it gave a blood-curdling cry, I recalled that theory was discredited. I shouted, “APPRAISAL!” Like it was some ultimate attack.

“Ah, fudge!” I moaned as it seemed to be striking at me. I jumped to the side, only to be thrown by the impact like a lifeless doll. Ya, my body was screwed up. A pillar of molten flame is rocketing towards me. Then my brain kicks in as I face death.
“Ability Steal!” I desperately screamed. The world seemed to freeze, and an emerald dice six-sided dice appeared in my right hand. Only guessing what it meant, I tossed it on the igneous floor. It landed on three. That flame seems to be getting closer.
I am swallowed by the by the pillar of flame. It felt like a warm shower. When I felt a moment of relief, a deathly scream of the firedrake tore through the air. Flames subsided around me; only to witness that flame
Its nightmarish form thrashed about on the igneous floor, destroying all the boulders that surrounded it. The large obsidian serpent thrashed about trying to smother the flames.
The firedrake found me in it’s howling agony as it lurched out to strike me. I rolled my injured body to the left. I looked at that once regal form that is ablaze before me. Those blood ruby eyes glared at me with passion. Those eyes slowly fell closed to never open again.
The flames started to smolder from this corpses I slowly pulled my body up.
Amazingly, I still had some of my smoldering cloths left on my body. They started to harden as black plastic.
“Great! Just, great!” I muttered in frustration. Just as I was about to curse the existence or that proclaimed God. I fell to my knees and offered a prayer to my Heavenly Father. When or if he will get my prayer I don’t know, but a prayer of thanks, I offered.
Having cooled down my head, thought about what to do. A wind was blowing away the fumes of sulfur. I used appraisal on the fire drake serpent corpse.
